What is a valid baseline in comparative studies in carabidology?

We invite all participants participating in the Symposium on July 24 (Sunday) or earlier to the accommodation at the "Hilton" or "Limba" student house or "Ikar" on the campus of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. We have different standards of accommodation.

1. The lowest standard:

   Accommodation in 4-room segments with shared bathroom (2 rooms are excluded from usage and 2 rooms are available to participants in "Hilton" student house, prices for today are (accommodation prices don't include breakfast):

   • 1 person / day in a double or triple room used by 2 persons - PLN 40.00 + 8% VAT, i.e. PLN 43.20.
   • 1 person / day in a double or triple room used by 1 person PLN 55.00 + 8% VAT, i.e. PLN 59.40.

   In the case that the restrictions against COVID will be stopped in Warsaw, it will be possible to accommodate 3 people in 3-person rooms (at the request of participants), then the cost of accommodation for 1 person will be PLN 35.00 + 8% VAT, i.e. PLN 37.80.

2. Slightly higher standard:

   The prices of accommodation for 1 day in a room in a double room segment at the "Limba" student house are (accommodation prices don't include breakfast):

   • 2 persons / day in a double room - PLN 100 +8%VAT = 108 (per one person PLN 54.00)
   • 1 person /day in a single room PLN 65.00 + 8% VAT = PLN 70.20
     (single room also means the accommodation of 1 person in a double room)

3. Higher standard - 30 single rooms

   Accommodation in the academic hotel "IKAR". Single rooms with bathroom - price (breakfast included) are:

   1 person / day PLN 160 (the price includes VAT and breakfast)

4. The highest standard - 15 apartments

   Accommodation in the academic hotel "IKAR". There are rooms in apartments, each with a separate sleeping area, a seating area, an annex and a bathroom. Possibility of accommodation for 2 persons. There are 2 options: 1 large "double" bed or 2 separate beds.

   1 or 2 person / day PLN 340 (the price includes VAT and breakfast)

Due to inflation, prices of accommodation in Warsaw University of Life Sciences may slightly increase.
